My Story
My Scentsy journey began when I received my first warmer as a gift. I used it all the time and quickly learned that I had an acquaintance that was selling Scentsy. She convinced me to host a party and I quickly decided that I should become a consultant and get the discount, I mean I was already buying it anyway! I sold to my family and friends, but eventually decided it wasn't for me, so I stopped. A few years later, my friend had a Scentsy Facebook party, and I once again was hooked. The difference this time is that I've become a stay-at-home mom to 3 beautiful little girls and want to be able to help contribute some financially without missing my time with them.
That is my favorite thing about being a consultant, it allows me to make some extra money, but not at the expense of missing time with my family. I'm able to work my business when I have the time and my kids love "working" with me. My girls always want to help me make samples and "work" with me. I get to enjoy going on adventures with my family, enjoying my kids' activities, with the addition of enjoying some great products and making some extra money. I'm not a "sales" person and that's ok with Scentsy because all I have to do is share the products that I already love with people I know and people I don't know that will become friends, teammates, and customers, it really is a win win situation!
